A major broadcaster wanted to improve its business continuity management (BCM) by broadening its scope beyond IT disaster recovery.
Marsh developed a business case to justify further investment in building business resilience. The project linked the IT disaster recovery plan to the heart of the organisation’s business, and was used as a basis to train BCM teams and build extra competence.
Once the plan was exercised, the Board felt more confident that the teams tasked with business recovery had the competence and resource to recover the business from interruption or crisis.
