Marsh is hosting a free half day workshop in Dublin on Thursday 20 November focusing on business resilience techniques for "Trading Through The Downturn".
The workshop will involve attendees using special voting software to interactively assess their changing risk environment while working through a case study example. This will be followed by a panel discussion involving Marsh experts from a number of specialty areas including broking, risk management consulting and credit risk, as well as a senior partner from leading accountants - Baker Tilly Ryan Glennon.

Intended for risk managers, insurance managers,
in-house legal counsel and those responsible for dealing with insurance claims, this seminar included real, practical examples of ways to maximise the return on premium spend.
Speakers:
Janet Lambrou and Louise Hume, both legally qualified claims advocates working in Marsh, deal with issues arising from complex and disrupted claims
on a daily basis. During this seminar they outlined how claims can go wrong and explained underwriters’ perspectives on what is expected from their insureds.

Following the enactment of considerable volumes of recent Health and Safety legislation – in particular the General Application Regulations 2007 and Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 – company directors and senior managers can now be held personally responsible for organisational breaches of health and safety law which can result in substantial fines and imprisonment.
